About Me

from gran's piano till now...

I've been making music since my Gran told my parents she didn't mind me clambering up on her piano stool and losing myself in wonder as I poked around on the keys. Mum and Dad were worried she might be irritated, having been a concert pianist, but she said no she didn't mind at all because she could hear I was doing more than making random noise. I still remember being 'away with the fairies' but also figuring stuff out. Through many years of learning to write and play, that urge to 'figure stuff out' has never faded. My primary instrument became the guitar but I loved learning how to write for other instruments too. Still learning now... Can't stop.

There are too many influences in my music to list, so I guess I will leave them as a nice guessing game for my listeners... I've liked just about every type of music over the years and it all comes out somewhere along the way, blended with my own 'figuring stuff out... er... stuff' of course.
